I see discarded garments not as the end of one journey, but the beginning of another, much like souls in spiritual beliefs, can embark on new journeys after their initial purpose is fulfilled. In many religions, it's believed that our past lives shape us, the memories fade, leaving only echoes in our current existence. 


Perhaps, upcycle fashion speaks the same concept. Each piece is reborn, carrying with it stories from its past life, stepping into a new narrative.
